Q & A
Why do you believe that self love is important?
Self-love is everything. You cannot pour yourself into other people until you pour into yourself.
What was the number one thing that was holding you back from accepting self love?
The one major thought that I kept having was I didn’t deserve it. I didn’t deserve to feel love, because I wasn’t this mold or that mold or I didn’t look like this. For me it was a lot of “I don’t deserve it.”
Who is one person who has changed your life for the better?
There have been a lot of people. I have found friends online. I have coaches. I have some mentors locally who have really helped. I have found a huge network of people who I have never even met in person.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
You have to love yourself before you can love anyone else.
What is a self care habit that you practice regularly?
Journaling. Journaling is key.
Can you share a resource, an app or a tool that we can use to build our selfcare practice.
Calm, for meditating. That’s a great one. I also have the Danielle Laporte’s Truth Bombs. Those are two of my favorites.
What book are you reading right now?
What is the one thing that you are most passionate about?
Helping other women.
