Q & A
Why is self love important to you personally?
For me, without self love, there’s no way to be as fully yourself in this world. It’s too easy to be swayed by other people’s thoughts and opinions. . .
What was the number one thing that was holding you back from accepting self love?
I think, in the beginning, I didn’t even know what it was, or why it was important. . . Nobody had ever talked to me about it.”
What is the best advice you have ever received?
To feel the fear and do it anyway.
What is a self care habit that you practice regularly?
Journaling. Every day. I write about my life as I want to experience it and as though I am already experiencing it that way.
Do you have a favorite quote?
“Be the change that you want to see in the world.”
Can you share with us a resource or an app that we can use to help our own self care practice grow?
I want to learn Italian. I have this app called Babble, and I’m learning Italian on it.
What book are you reading right now?
Helene helps women attract the love they deserve by confidently owning who they are and loving themselves so that they can stop dating the same guy in different packaging and repeating patterns of past relationships.
