049 Unlimited Potential, Interview with Arabelle Yee
In this interview, Arabelle Yee shares with us her journey from climbing the corporate ladder to seeking a way to be living “a purpose driven, fulfilling, meaningful life.” She describes her moment of clarity, the steps she took, and her ultimately successful business venture. Yee also shares with us steps anyone can take to address uncertainty and doubt in our lives.
What held you back from self-love? “Not feeling good enough and not feeling worth enough.”
What self-care habit do you practice regularly? “Connect with nature on a daily basis, even if it’s just going to the beach.”
What is your favorite quote? “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right” Henry Ford
Do you have a Self-care practice tip or app? “I don’t really use any, but I have seen one app that’s called Headspace, for mindfulness meditation.” “I heard it’s a really good app.” *Author’s note: Headspace is a really good app, and is free for the first ten days. Stop, Breathe, and Think is another meditation app that is completely free. Youtube is another excellent source of free meditation videos.*
Best advice? “Slow down to speed things up. We’re always so busy, we forget to pause.”
One person who changed your life for the better? “That’s a difficult question, because there’s so many people, but I would say one of them would be one of my mentors. He really pushed me to see things clearly where I want to go in my life. And that’s why it’s extremely important to surround yourself with the right people who will support you, who will push you, and also mentors and coaches who can take you to another level in your life and business that you never even thought was possible.”
One thing you are most passionate about? “Teaching! Teaching about self-awareness, self-development, mindset, and business and also sharing my message and my story.”
